Four years ago, on 1 November just like today, I began work on *Commuting Time*. It is a 50-minute video which I have posted on my website today for anyone who wishes to watch it. The project encapsulates all my interests in life – in art –, as it explicitly reflects on them through the dialogue between the actors. Furthermore, it has a performative aspect that has become a constant feature in everything I have done. Finally, the project’s initial premise is absurd, and the ridiculous commitment to seeing it through at all costs sums up perfectly my view of the role of the artist and of human condition. I hope that, for those who choose to watch it, it will provide some insight, if not enjoyment.
